Good Food for Good People organizes community events around healthy food. We are changing a global food system that has been fast, cheap and easy into a locally managed system that is nutritious, affordable and sustainable.
Sean and Carole Siple
Sean has been gamefully unemployed since 2001 and began building what is now Good Food with lots of amazing people nearly a decade ago. Carole is one of the foremost respected dietitians in the region and has invested untold time and money into this vision. They have a lot of fun managing this effort and they are deeply in love with each other too.
Love Building Proprietor
Trish came to Nashville to see the Carrot Academy and the Good Food education initiatives got on track. She oversaw the opening of the LOVE Kitchen and is hosting culinary explorers twice a week .
Her ability to connect with people and her genuine desire to see more people eating for health and flavor drives her to work tirelessly for the community.
Local Food Forager
Kat joins Good Food after two years working at a Knoxville Community Garden and then a full season on a long-standing organic far. She is adding to the mix by bringing people food–oftentimes from local farmers–and connecting them to others in the Nashville community. She hopes to become a vibrant member of the middle Tennessee community through her work with Good Food for Good People.
Eden Games Focalizer
Kiah’s passion, if it could be boiled down into one sentence, is aiding in the development of strong communities that foster equal opportunities. In the past that’s been translated into domestic violence advocacy, farm to school programs, outdoor education, youth development, park management, and summer camp. Most recently my energy has been directed towards Good Food for Good People, a business whose aspirations fall in line with many of her own.
Farmers Market Specialist
Nina is a Farmers Market Team Leader and program manager and there is no doubt about it, she excels at all she does. She grew from the the ground up our Samaritan Market Program this summer and is now a team leader in our Country to the Core and VA Wellness Wednesday markets. A mother and wife, homeschooler and one of our Good Food crew too. Nina has a real heart for children and seniors and she emulates the best in Good Food for Good People’s spirit to be of service.
