Good Food for Good People organizes community events around healthy food. We are changing a global food system that has been fast, cheap and easy into a locally managed system that is nutritious, affordable and sustainable.

Since 2004, Sean and Carole have been mobilizing people and community assets in the Nashville area toward a more healthy local food system. Carole is a highly accomplished dietitian in the region and Sean is a seasoned community organizer. Together they are the managing partners of this effort. And they are deeply in love with each other too.

Adam B. Curtis
Garden Educator
A recent graduate of Lipscomb’s Institute for Sustainable Practice,
Adam joined the Good Food team to further his knowledge of the food
system. His passion for good food has emerged from educational
experiences and personal exploration. He hopes to further the food
system through policy work utilizing his love of the political. In the meantime he is sharing his joy with others at our markets and in the garden.

Lino Larke
Funny Farmer
Lino is a Nashville native who in the past five years has worked with almost every major community gardening enterprise in the City. He is our new Saturday farming team leader at the Funny Farm. Lino is passionate about urban gardening and he continues to expand his knowledge on sustainable agriculture. He is also assisting at the skills classes in the greenhouse at Hillsboro High School and with LEAD Academy.

Nina Williams
Farmers Market Specialist
Nina is a Farmers Market Team Leader and program manager and there is no doubt about it, she excels at all she does. She grew from the the ground up our Samaritan Market Program this summer and is now a team leader in our Country to the Core and VA Wellness Wednesday markets. A mother and wife, homeschooler and one of our Good Food crew too. Nina has a real heart for children and seniors and she emulates the best in Good Food for Good People’s spirit to be of service.

Lisa Friedman
Gardener and Market Specialist
Lisa has joined us part-time to help bring the Funny Farm into being in the lot adjacent to our headquarters. A life-long gardener and lover of fresh food, her energy and insight are a great addition to our team.
She is also the team leader at the Good Food Family Farms Coop Booth on Saturday and the team leader for the Micah Academy market on Fridays.
