Our Good Food Buyer’s Club is slightly different from a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). When one joins a CSA, the subscriber’s money goes to a single farmer before the season starts with an agreement that the subscriber will accept whatever product the farm produces — sharing in the risk and rewards of farming.
In contrast, as a member of the buying club, you gain direct access to a large cooperative of farms and receive a professionally selected collection of what is fresh from the field. Cooperative membership allows you to join others to support local farms at high level of convenience and at very attractive prices.
The Good Food Buyers Club Membership has a menu of options that includes produce, proteins and farm fresh specialty items. We also work with a select group of farmers who grow their food free of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and genetically modified organisms. (Some are certified organic and some certified naturally grown).
